Wapda Chief Raghib Abbas Shah told the senate committee that 4.2 billion dollars have been arranged for the construction of Dasu Hydropower dam and the work will start from this year, told Dawn.
While in meeting with the senate committee he informed that the project will be approved in the next meeting,.
The project will be able to produce 2160 MW electricity after it is completed. Moreover, after up gradation it will be able to produce a power of 4230 MW.
