GSP plus status displays EU’s trust in Pakistan: President

President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday expressed that grant of GSP-plus status depicts the trust of European countries in Pakistan, reported APP.

The head of state said this in a meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Belgium at Aiwan e Saddar while discussing diplomatic affairs. He congratulated the newly made Ambassador Naghmana Hashmi and perceived that Brussels, as headquarter of European Union, is an essential capital.

President advised the Ambassador to play her due role in sustaining relations with the EU for optimum utilization of the granted status.
