New Islamabad airport to be completed by 2016

‘The new Islamabad airport will be completed by 2016’ told Director general Muhammad Yousaf to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on his visit to the construction site, Radio Pakistan reported.

DG CAA told Nawaz sharif that 70% of the construction has been completed and two runways are currently under construction. The airport has until now cost around 70 billion he added.

PM examined the construction site and directed to use international standards for the construction of the airport.
