India successfully test-fires ballistic missile Agni-1

Indian military has successfully conducted test launch of its newly built nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni 1 in state of Odisha on Friday, reported KUNA via PTI.

The nuclear capable ballistic missile weighs 12 ton and is 15 meter long. Agni 1 can carry around a ton of load and has been  admitted in Indian army.

The nuclear capable ballistic missile is made by Indian Defense research development laboratory and Research Centre Imarat in collaboration with advanced system laboratory. It was integrated by Bharat dynamics limited, Hyderabad stated Jagran post

Representative of DRDO Ravi Kumar Gupta said that ‘the trial was successful and all results were met’.

The Indian Strategic Force Command (SFC) conducted the experiment in night concentrating on the requirements and necessity for any prospects.

The night trial was previously postponed twice on Feb 18 and Feb 19.
