Pakistani military experts will be hired by Kuwait to train its army and defense office will be opened in Islamabad as per an announcement by Kuwaiti government today.

According to a news story in The News, Kuwaiti government has declared its intention to hire Pakistani military professionals to train around 11000 Kuwaiti soldiers.
Moreover, Kuwait has also formally informed the government of Pakistan that it will be opening its defense office in Islamabad under diplomatic mission.
It should be noted that Kuwait is the fourth Gulf Cooperation Council member that will be opening a defense office in Pakistan, other three members who have defense offices in Pakistan are Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman.
Kuwait is also considered a friend of Pakistan in need as it has helped Pakistan in difficult times. However, Pakistan has also re-paid Kuwait by sending skilled workers to the country and supporting it in Iraq-Kuwait war.
