Country faces ‘multi-dimensional’ security threat: Pakistan COAS

In a visit to Sonmiani Ranges to witness Air defense firing drills by Pakistan Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif, he said ‘country faces multi-dimensional security risk and high state of preparation is required by the Pakistan military at all times’.

As per a statement by ISPR, COAS said that highest standards of training are the assurance to keep the state secure. For that purpose, he stressed that Army’s professionalism is the hallmark to carry out the mission.

The General witnessed air defense drills including surface to air missiles and surface to air gun drills. He cherished the professionalism of the participants and praised the elite standards used by the sonmiani ranges personnel.
