5 killed in Indian air force plane crash

Indian air force plane Super Hercules C130 crashes in Rajasthan killing five air force officers, reported Kuwait news agency (KUNA)

According to details, the plane was on a regular flying mission and took off from Agra at 10 am.

The plane crashed when it was 72 miles west of Gwalior airbase, said the spokesperson.

Around two wing commanders, two squadron leaders and another crew member died in the crash.

A probe has been launched in to the incident by the Indian court.

The C130 plane was bought for 1.1 billion dollar and was inducted into the Indian air force three years back.

Super Hercules c130 was also used for Malaysian airline search by India.
