Afghan army kills 22 Taliban seizes 33 IEDs

At least 22 afghan Taliban were killed and around seven others were apprehended in a combined operation by Afghan military, police and intelligence, reported Khaama press agency.

According to the news story, the operation was conducted by the Afghan security agencies in Nangarhar, Zabul, Maidan, Wardak, Logar, Ghazni and Nimroz provinces of Afghanistan on 24th may Monday.

The operation was conducted by afghan military and police on the directives of Afghanistan Intelligence – national directorate of Security (NDS).

The security agencies seized 33 IEDs during operation in respective areas, which were planted by Taliban to carry out terrorist attacks.
