Afghan intelligence blame Pakistan counterpart for attacks

Afghanistan top intelligence officials declare in a meeting on Monday 24th may that attacks on Serena hotel were conducted by a foreign intelligence agency in a statement issued by Afghan president, reported Dna India.

The agency in the meeting alleged that Pakistan intelligence or religious schools might be involved in the attacks on the hotel however it refrained from being specific. The agency has previously accused its neighbor of sending militants to carry out attacks on Afghan soil.

Moreover, the spy agency of Afghanistan overruled the presence of Haqqani group or Taliban in the attack.

Afghanistan presidential polls are due next month and security agencies smell the attacks as an action to disrupt the peace.

Pakistan denies allegations


Pakistan on the other hand has denied the allegations saying the allegation made by the Afghanistan intelligence agencies is ‘quite disturbing’.

Pakistan foreign office said in a statement on 25th march, as reported by Dna India, that the tendency to blame Pakistan immediately is not helpful and should be overruled.
