Alleged ‘ISI spy’ captured by India

Indian police on Wednesday 26th march arrested an army clerk on charges of spying for Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan, reported Mail online India.

According to the police, the alleged spy was having military installation sketches and photographs of restricted areas in his possession. As per the news on Daily mail, ‘Lovedeep is a resident of Park Avenue, Faridkot and was acting as an ISI spy’ states Special operations cell Inspector Harvinder Singh.

Singh further reveals that the alleged spy was working with ISI for the last 18 months and was providing them with details of military installations in Faridkot, Ferozpur and Fazilka sectors of India. All of these sectors are bordering areas on Indo Pak border.

Singh also added that the alleged spy was transmitting classified information about military vehicles and unit formation to its handlers.

ISI is the top core intelligence agency of Pakistan and is responsible for all external intelligence for the country's security.

Recently, ISI was blamed by Afghanistan national intelligence agency for bombing Serena hotel in Afghanistan.
