India, Israel pair to produce ballistic missile defense against Pakistan, China

In a defense agreement between India and Israel, it has been concluded that Israel will provide a ballistic missile system (BMS) to India for defending itself from its neighbors China and Pakistan.

According to a news story on the frontier post, India and Israel were in talks about the BMS from last two years however, things heated up after Israel proposed a program to improve Indian air defense.

As per a source on World tribune, ‘the BMS system will help defend the country from Pakistan and China’.

Currently two institutions Israel’s state owned Institute Rafael Advanced defense system and India’s Defense research and development organization are in ground talks for laying the basis of the project.

It should be noted India is improving its surveillance and defense network as well and is currently in second phase of a seven-phased project to deploy its own GPS system.
